Raimondi USA Turbo
Hole Saw
While the Porcelain-Pro features
a uniquely electroplated diamond
matrix, the Turbo Hole Saw featured
a sintered diamond matrix. The difference?
The diamonds are embedded directly
into the metal turbo tip. As the
metal wears down, new diamonds are
revealed on the surface.
The advantage of the sintering
process is that these drill bits
are more durable and are able to
cut through concrete, masonry, and
other difficult stone materials.
You're also able to use these bits
to perform "dry" cuts,
but as always, it's preferrable
to lubricate these bits with water
during the cutting process. The
less heat that's displaced, the
less damage the drill bit receives
which translates directly into a
very long service-life.
